'Volunteer of the Month'

Renee Douglas

Renee has been in rescue LONG before Save the Pets was formed and she did it all on her own for the sake of the animals. She doesn't care about recognition or praise, she just wants to save as many lives as she can. And that is EXACTLY what she does! If she cannot find a place for a dog to go that is in jeopardy of being put down, she'll take the dog home. And whenever a dog goes home with Renee, we know that dog will be saved! She is dedicated, loyal, and a true saint in our book. Thank you Renee!

Julia Bowlin - February 2009

Julia is one of those people you call when you need help and you know she'll be there for you! She is our dog trainer we work with to help the dogs 'with issues' or are hard to place. Julia thinks all dogs are adoptable making her PERFECT for our Save the Pet's trainer! There is no issue too big or too small that Julia with with. She has helped hundreds of families with issue their dogs were having and probably caused a lot of unnecessary animals to be sent to the shelter or worse. She is truly a gift to us. Thank you Julia!!!

Cindy Munyon - January 2009

We LOVE Cindy! She has been around since the beginning with Save the Pets and she is always there when you need her. She fosters, transports, does home-checks, takes videos and photos of the dogs not to mention does almost daily adds wherever she can post to find homes. She is amazing! She has been a life saver in some of the most desperate of times. Words cannot express how appreciated she is. Another angel amongst us. Thanks Cindy!!!

I have rarely witnessed the attachment Molly feels toward animals, and the dedication she puts into 'following it all the way to the end'.
She has made sure many of the 'less easy to place' animals have found their forever homes, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate her efforts.
She has given us all a reason to be thank-ful, every time we here of one of these guys getting adopted.
She's an inspiration, and I would hope one day soon, I can be just like her!! :)

With much love for Molly, from Robin, and all those 'other' guys you've helped!

I also cant say enough about how amazing Molly is and how very important she is to Save the Pets. Molly's hard work and determination has helped many dogs who may not have had much of a chance find their homes and know what its like to feel love again. I feel so blessed to have gotten to know Molly and she continues to be an inspiration to me everyday. Thank you so very much Molly for what you do for us and especially the animals.

Sondra, I appreciate you so much. I feel like whenever there is a pit bull at the pound that I am especially worrying about, you are always caring about him or her too. It is nice to know that we are not alone because we have each other. We can work as a team. Thank you for helping Buster find a foster home. Thank you for taking in Sasha. Well, there's a hundred more thank you's but I don't want to bore you.
